Progressive Leasing can be paid off early through 90-day purchase options and other buyout choices that vary by state. Unfortunately, the interest rates for Progressive Leasing are not posted. Before accepting a lease offer, determine what the total expense will be and make sure the lease-to-own item is worth the ultimate cost.
There are currently the following standard in-store financing promotions - 90 days no interest on all purchases and 6 months on all purchases $299 and up. Right now, there is also an ongoing promotion for 18 months on all purchases $499 and up. Special financing promotions on particular product categories, like home theater, may change weekly. Check out your weekly flyers for current promotions. I also want to make users aware that while these financing promotions allow for no-interest during specific timeframes, monthly minimum payments are still required. For more info, check out our Credit Card link off of BestBuy.com.
With that said the new advertisement is stating that you can only get a year of no interest. What has happened to the three years. I was really looking forward to using that in the next couple weeks. the reason why i didn't jump on it is because i may be moving and was waiting for then. If i would have known i could have gotten the better deal at the place down the street that is going out of bussiness ( the old company that your not allowed to say on here) because today was their last day. The whole reason why i waited was because i knew i could finance it for 3 years with no interest. I hope that oppurtinity comes back soon. I like to use my best buy credit card, but i might as well just open another credit card and get longer than a year with 0 percent. I hope you can answer this and that oppurtunity comes back again.
Thanks, jwober1. You're right - this week, the promotion has changed to one-year no interest on purchases $499 and up. As I said, these promotions do change weekly so keep checking those Weekly Ads (viewable on BestBuy.com). I'm sure we will offer the 3-year plan again, but I have no idea how soon that might be, nor would we release that information until that week's ad is out.
